At Will C. Wood, our goal is to provide our students with a quality education and a safe learning environment so they are prepared to tackle the academic and social challenges of both high school and college to be able to pursue their dreams and goals.
Beginning tomorrow morning we are not able to have students dropped off inside the parking lot. Unfortunately this has caused a traffic jam and we are concerned about our students’ safety as they are walking through the parking lot. However, if you need to come by the office please let our staff member know and they will give you access to pull in and park. We ask that you please drop off your students on Lemon Hill Blvd. Also, please keep in mind that u-turns are not allowed on Lemon Hill Blvd.
Per state law, districts are required to resume in-person instruction and are no longer permitted to continue distance learning.
For students who are not yet ready to return to full in-person instruction, Sacramento City Unified will offer a long-term independent study program, consistent with the recently enacted Assembly Bill (AB130).
In July 2011, AB 354, a new law went into effect requiring all students entering 7th grade to have proof of a Tdap (pertussis/whooping cough) shot to start school.
Avoid the rush and make sure your child can start school on time. Make an appointment for your incoming 7th grader to get a Tdap shot now.
Your child will need proof of immunization in order to start school. Take your child’s record to his/her current school .
We have two openings for our SSC/ELAC Committee. Parents are an integral part of the success of our school. We encourage you to join us and be a part of this committee.
Starting, Thursday, Aprill 22, SacRT is adding extra trips on the 200 series bus service to support our district’s reopening.

Your in grades TK through 12 can take advantage of RydeFree RT, the fare-free transit program for youth and students.
If you received a phone call from us letting you know that your child is missing an immunization to begin school, please bring those into the office as soon as possible.
Due to the issues related to the Covid-19 pandemic and our current stay-at-home orders a new process was needed to support student enrollment. The link below will support New, Existing and Returning students, Intra-Inter Permit information/submission, Home Address Updates, Guardianship changes, as well as Open Enrollment/High School Specialty information/submission. Parents will be able to complete web based forms (using SMART Phones or Computers) and upload/attach all required documents.
If you are thinking about going out of town for 2 or more weeks, please call and let the school know at least 1 week in advance. We will arrange to gather the work that your child will be missing to do while he/she is away, so that he/she does not fall behind. If you have further questions, please call the school
To ensure that you receive accurate and effective school communication, please assist the school in keeping your child’s contact information up-to-date. Please call the school at (916) 395-5380, should your family move to a new residence or your phone number has been changed. All school communication will be sent to the contact information on file for your child.
